The daily valet rate for patients and visitors is $9.00 with validation and $20.00 without validation. Research activities have been initiated to enhance the collaborative environment for this multidisciplinary group. We have extended our mission as an umbrella organization uniting all eye and vision researchers at University of Miami and neighboring academic institutions. Our multidisciplinary research program covers a broad spectrum, from the most basic investigations into the nature of molecules, cells and tissues, all the way to the development of devices for clinical application. 
Some current areas of clinical research directly addressing patient care include macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, artificial cornea development and ocular cancer.
